Do you want to be the FARB that ruines the impression of the entire group or do you portray Volksturm?

Volksgewehr and MP3008 should be illegal for non Volksturm reenactors!

Not too late, but Volkssturm only. I've always wondered if it is a Volkssturm-gewehr or a Volks-Sturmgewehr ;)

There are some examples of Volkssturmmänner using these. A couple I've found on my computer:

Volkssturm wearing furcaps and VG's (taken from a Wochenschau, it also shows later on a large group who get their VG's in 1945).

The Volkssturm Zugführer on the left has one (note the MG42 and K98 with scope!)

I've fired one of those - SHEEESH! The whole top assembly cycles. And the recoil is HARSH.

LATE LATE war and only Volksturm/last ditch scenarios.
