Hello everybody,
First i should explain that i dont have any experience with sewing insignia. My friend asked me to do insignia sewing for him, so i was preparing bevo eagle and litzen. I had no problem with a breast patch, came out nicely, but while i was doing collar patches i had this weird feeling that something is wrong. When i was finished and about to admire my own work i noticed that one litzen is shorter than other. Is that normal or did i f up?

Re: litzen question
Well, measure the middle bar and if it's different lengths then nothing you can do about it, the outer bars are also for some reason a darker colour on these, which is incorrect.
Your sewing method with the 'blocks' at the end is also not commonly found on original Litzen, here is an example:
The Litzen should be folded at the point the middle bar ends, with a slant which matches the angle of the outer bars. Following this the 'blocks' on yours should come more to a point, by gluing the threads back.
