So in the end whats a good repro helm, not costing over 250-350 dollars at the moment i am on a budget, but still willing to spend a good amount of money.
Its still a piece of kit that you dont buy often.

The main focus i have is general quality and ruggedness/durability, the shape and weight of the shell, and the liner quality.
The inside markings and the "zig zag" stitch dont bother me too much, as it will be constantly worn.

Here are some of them, so i would ask for an opinion.

Those are some ive found will glad hear for any other more expensive suggestions.

If you are on a budget I would got for one of the bottom 2 links. You know you can reshape the front of the helmet to give that gentle up down up sweep at the front using a grinding/sanding tool. Looks so much better if you get it right!

to get the best falschie helmet you need an "INDIAN" depeeka shell  , can be had from ebay, but throw away the liner & get one from Barry Lyndon "speahead militaria" or failing that Don Calder, his are better but more expensive .

cheers
FJ39-45.

You guys agree with this?

Like to buy one,saw one from fj werke 8) but don't want to pay 130 pounds for an empty shell.
Depeeka will be the next choice?

a year ago , i would say get a Depeeka shell , but over the last year or so, i have seen several depeeka shells now each finishing in a different factory finish around the rim. Some are pointy, some are smooth. So they seem to be hit or miss.

But its the norm really, buy a depeeka shell , then get a lyndon liner . i dont think he has any on his site, but msg him and he will put some on for you.
