Hi

Due to the hoped broad scope for our new group I was wondering if anyone can post any photos they have that contain women in any role. Thanks

H x

ps does anyone know of any 1940s german fashion books im intrested in getting some civilian stuff made up

Cheers
People who think they know everything only infuriate those of us who do
Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, only she did it backwards and in high heels.......

Burda patterns I think are the German ones, can still buy them and quite reasonably on ebay and I think like Simplicity they revamped them recently with a retro range.

Nazi Chic, would be the only book I've noticed (in English) that discusses fashions going on.

Michaela's CD is good :D

When you say in roles ? what do you mean ? I've a copy of Blitzmadchen that covers a variety of roles and contains pictures.

Warwives, has some good pictures of well erm wives

If you PM me specifics of what you're looking for I'll trawl the books I have, but get the CD ;) I'll PM you a link (I'm not sure the site owner would like it on here) for something else that you may find interesting

Well I like to think that I can sing and I have a pretty pair of lungs to support my voice too,hahaha...at least I have never been told to shut up when singing "Das gibt´s nur einmal" or "Bel Ami"

Could always mime like those that do the Andrews sisters ?

Would be different, I think people would rather hear finger nails scraped down a chalk board than listen to me sing, I think (note I don't know) I'd come across as a poorly represented version and akin to Paul O'Grady as Lily Savage when he did a Dietrich

You can insist its torture all you like, but if we get enough of us out of tune, somewhere in between we might actually be harmonic
