Very nice ride, if you can get away with it take signals off completely or make them removable for events (quick detach wiring & mounts). I personally recommend Mike allen (blitzbikes) as he has a lot of experience with Chinese beemers and his stuff is top notch,( not to mention he's a brit himself). I do see where your coming from though, between shipping & import duties your wallet would empty out damn fast. good luck and post pictures when your finished.Dieter

these bikes will never look like an R75 as long as i have a hole up my arse!

you can convert then to look like an R71/R61/R51 but it needs
a new tank
hand gear change on the right side of the new tank
a new headlight and rim and glass
a new ingnition switch
a new rear light
non chrome exhaust pipes and cans

i would change that before adding mg mount ect, it was only one in three then two in four that had mg mounts anyway, dont bother making it "camo" as these would not have been, there is a famous pic of Klingenberg on one of these

i would also get leather panniers as these would go more with this early war production bikes (i have metal but would like leather)

i will try and find some pics of what these should look like

I found this period photo the other day on an ebay listing for CJ750's in the USA. Thought it might be of interest.
