Spot the VW, in america (signs in both english and is that chinese)? was this a parade of enemy vehicles and uniforms?

That's a Japanese flag but almost all of the signs are in Chinese. With those rickshaws, I'd say that's occupied China.
Those Japanese uniforms look odd though, anybody know what kind they are? Police perhaps?

Turns out its a fake photo.
Its the same shot of a FAMO moving thru Arnhem in 1944, with a Schwimmer in the back....its on page 25 of "German Armoured units at Arnhem", by Marcel Zwart.

Thats precisely why i asked, the photo didn't add up to me. That model didn't start getting built until the germans had more or less stopped supplying the chinese army with equipment so the dates didn't work. Plus they aren't NLF troops, standard navy guys by the looks of it
