Zundapp DB200 miles per gallon/liter?

Post by FJ_Gefreiter »

Does anyone know the standrad miles per gallon or miles per liter of a DB200, with 12 liter engine? This way I'll know how many jerry cans I'll need to bring with me to events (plus, if I ever putt around with it on the street).

Hello,

I can't find info on your DB200 in any of my books sorry.
But my NSU 201 ZDB which is a very similar bike does 3.5 to 4 ltrs/100km according to it's manual.
As there the same size engine and age that should be very similar.

Hope that helps.

I get 70 miles per gallon on my little bike? 70! That's a lot more than I got with my calculator.

It's a little bit less than I got with mine, I made it about 80 mpg - all dependant on what conversion factors you are using.

Sounds about right... a 200cc lambretta is ment to give 118mpg!

Remember, manufacturer quoted MPG is worked out under test conditions, not razzing it round beltring 2 up with all the gear, that may raise your consumption somewhat... :)

I'd have a Lammy over a Vespa any day, never had any trouble with mine... and they look better.
