"The Tiger" is up for sale then

Post by Hoffman Grink »

Dunno how long it's been on there - Says the StuG has gone....

Ah well - happy days - good memories - I wonder who will appear with it next year?

Doh! 15 October 2009. Shows how much interest we have doesn't it?

I hope they stay in the UK, would be a shame to lose them.

I think (only a hunch) that the StuG may have gone to Spain...... or may have been bought by Spanish members of a UK group in which case it may stay here to be used by them.

I would think the Tiger will go Stateside........

A shame to let it go... selling in the middle of a recession... maybe I should save up, buy a old T34 then dress it up as a king tiger?

It would be a bugger to tow on the back of my mondeo...

Or maybe not.

Waste of a T55 IMHO. I first saw and climbed all over a T55 in 1979 and I wasn't impressed then but with a Tigger top who knows. The Tiger did cut an 'oooo' from the crowd though and it was fun to pyro up.

got to agree, the Tiger in question has had it's day I suppose,.... needs a lot of tlc to get it up to a decent replica again, and the duck pond feature in the bottom of the hull definately needs removing,... more like a rusty bat cave then an replica internal. :P
