Well chaps I agree with Paul in relation to the whole idea of "cheap" in relation to this hobby. This Ford G917 is a fairly rare machine and appears to be in good condition a nice example of an early war truck and in my opinion well worth the price! A "restored" V3000s has recently been sold for around 8k but has a twisted chassis a poor body no instruments and a landrover engine! I paid 4k for mine and though it is sound still requires around 10k invested in it to bring it to what I would class as a good restoration

On that note I do hope someone in the re-enacting world can make use of the information. I wish I had bought this rather than the Model A in a way.
