PzKpfW V Pather Ausf A - replica from Poland

Post by mario33 »

This season also brought us new tank replica from Poland - Panther A built on the chasis of T55. As wheels and suspensions are not exact replicas - Shurzen are being prepared for the next season.

The tank is already taking part in reenactment events.

I'll say it again - one of the best replicas in the world of any German WW2 vehicle. They have worked around the enduring problem of using donor chassis with different wheel arrangements in an ingenious way, a 'dummy' sprocket at the front does wonders in deceiving the eye and achieving an excellent Panther 'look' despite the fact it uses paired wheels rather than interleaved. The overall proportions look very good too, whoever worked this all out did a very good job indeed!

Anybody know what they are going to work on next? I cannot believe that other vehicles won't emerge from this talented team...

Very impressive. I have to agree with whoever stated that they hoped to see more projects from this team!

Call yourself a prophet ;) Here's brand new replica of Marder II of the same team (called Panzerproject and led by Grzegorz Klimczak)... It runs, it shoots and it takes part in reenactment shows...

Do you know what that team would charge, if they were to sell a replica vehicle?
