Help needed with KK unit marking

Can anyone ID the unit marking on this KK, photo is from fleabay and just says "Norway".

Faffing about in Photoshop for a while would seem to indicate a small upside down closed semicircle with a narrow vertical line that extends a short way past the (lower) curve... if that helps anybody? I did at first think it might be a number (17?) inside the semicircle but it doesn't look like it now...

Franz: Sorry should have warned that the marking was a little vague.
