here is the particular book you could refer to. it is called the spellmount vehicle identification guide Panzergrenadier Divisions 1939-1945

written by chris bishop isbn 978 -1-86227-384-9

in it you have one particular vehicle called Morris Umbauwagen Kfz 12 From artillerie regiment 13/1 battallon / 1. batterie it is a captured vehicle pressed into german military service umbau means altered or converted referring to german body work fitted to a british light truck also you could still keep it right hand drive and body work is very straight forward panel cutting .

http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?t=80610

as you can see they dont need to be changed to as left hand drive at all so your conversion is made a heck of a lot easier

.
kfz15-1a - is the model I am replicating on a Landy 109 lefty.

I have purchased the donor vehicle, has excellent engine and running gear.

Will start fabricating end of Jan - should be ready for 2012 season.

I think you may struggle putting any vehicle like those on the road as it is totally different shape and not pedestrian friendly if you follow my drift!

Anything is possible, you would just have to comply with the construction and use regs for a vehicle of the age of the chassis - basicly it's a kit car body on a landy/disco chassis.

Your main problem I see would be light placement and the need to fit seatbelts and I guess keep a certain radius on all corners.

Asking on one of the kitcar forums could be a good start... as with all projects, if you do the reserch first saves any pi**ing about later.

Lets be honest, a standard Landy series 3 is hardly pedestrian friendly ;)
