Ot810 Halftrack on Milweb, Its Not mine I just found it today

Just spoken to the owner Francois Cederc the other day and he wants E 36000 / £30000 for it :shock: :shock: :shock: and after asking a few questions regards 'the braking issue' where he says it needs looking at.....from experience with mine....its sounds like the differential which controls the slew brakes is what needs looking at and this is a mammoth task......Andy Wilkins and his team from SBG who have graciously helped me will testify its not a 5 minute job.... if it was up for about £20000 it would be worth having a bite at :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Yes they are nice to look at,but need a lot of looking after and money spent on them,we in the SBG are very lucky we have got a dedicated team of 'grease monkeys'that keep the old girl going,otherwise it would be an expensive lawn ornament.

No mate - a lot got gasaxed....... But there are examples sitting here and there - a very nice one used to live near Derby - There is an untouched one at Eden Camp - PzFzGD had two - One lives with the guy who runs Pip Park..... My - aren't I a mine of information.......... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

There is also one sitting in a shed in Leicestershire....... but I've said too much already :twisted:

I see Richard Moore will have a fully restored one for sale in June....also advertised on Milweb :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Will be fabulous to see many assembled together along with fully tacked armour to form a full battle group in the near future :roll:
