After getting my V5 documents from the DVLA I need to sort out my insurance. I rang a military vehicle insurance company but there was a question that it needed to have military providence which I not sure about although registered as 1957 vintage, mot and tax exemption which I will Germanise to BMW R71 spec it seems that I would have to insure it with a classic bike insurance company. Any CJ750 owners out there recommend some good insurance companies that would insure such a bike.

Thanks for the tip but these are the guys I tried today, they said they never heard of a CJ750 or a Chang Jiang they also wanted to know if it had a military connection which I tried to explain and told them the history of the BMW R71 and M72. Anyone with a CJ750 who are insured with this company.

Got my insurance from Carol Nash no problems with identifying a CJ750 with continental sidecar combo and insuring it for the road.
