Isn't that just typically German? A special vehicle for lighting the blue touchpaper!!

Cheers for that - quite rare for me to see a previously unknown vehicle type... and an early version of the Demag chassis as well with solid wheels...

That would be one hell of a nice model conversion to do on a demag chassis.

Rare colour shot of 2 Citroen T23s. The one made to Wehrmacht specification is on the left, the earlier civilian pattern on the right. Over 6000 of the Wehrmacht specification T23s were made, and most were sent to the Eastern front because of their reliability.

More than doudted,have you got 'battle of the bulge'then and now,it shows the photographer,
setting up the shot with the k98 on the sighn.It also states that Peiper never passed that spot.

My dear Mr Peiper How can it be doubted in the photo the gut is a Untershaführer last time I looked in my books Peiper was an Oberstrumbannführer at the time. I think with out going to my books that the guy in the photo is Untershaführer Ochsner could be wrong
