DKW 125RD for sale in Europe

Post by Dietmar »

Posting this on behalf of a Czech friend (not entirely computer literate).
He wants 3000 Euros for it (£2,053.94 at current exchange rate). Not cheap, but from the photos you'll see that he is almost obssessive about detail. If anyone's interested, PM me and I'll send you his contact details.
He usually brings a couple of bikes to Beltring most years, so he may be able to help out with transport.
It's presently in Germany.

It's certainly bigger than the 125 I saw recently...... and the "350" stamped on the block kinda leads the viewer in Jim's direction of thought......

Yes, it IS a DKW 350-1 NZ.

The late war version with the cast iron engine, mud scraper, smaller headlamp etc etc..

Not bad for the money! :)

This is a RT 125

Bugger, I was asked by the Czech guy to post the advert, but the guy in Germany, where the bike is, sent me the photos. I'd better check that it's the right bike! Sorry about that.

Oh boy, have I got a red face, or what? Look, I don't know much about bikes and was just trying to do a guy a favour. I suppose it's a good job you boys know what you're talking about.
Yes it's a 350. I got my wires crossed with the German who's looking after them, mistakes were made, etc., but let's not start playing the blame game, eh?
Anyway this is the 125:-
(by the way, the 350 is also for sale, I'll try to find out for how much, this evening)
