DAK shirt supplier suggestions

Post by Peiper »

Greetings :D
Can anyone recommend a good supplier of Wehrmacht issue DAK shirts?, :?
the usual suspects are out of stock.
SOF tropical shirts only go up to Large sizes, Epic only do the Bundy type,
and RAU and Militaria Net only do the Lufty version. :(
Is there anybody else?, suggestions please gents :D

Thanks for that Jugend!
I did get one of these from Spearhead last year but through my own cockup
had washed it with something else (Doh!) and it went manky, hence my search
for another!
I do agree they are the mutts, just wash them seperate though! (Lol).
Anyhoo the search continues, thanks gents.

Lost battalions has a good pattern for these, but the shirts themselves are made of 60% polyester and refuse to wear in. one of the guys wore his as a work/sleep shirt for a month to wear it in, and the only difference shown is the paint missing from the buttons. it refuses to wrinkle and or fade. Spearheads is Better IMO, and I am the biggest fan of LB's wears.

My Lost Battalions tropical service shirt wrinkled up and wore in alot after I machine washed and dried it. Just be aware that it obviously shrinks.

...I got the cotton/linen mixed LW one from Barry, great shirt! I can't believe that LB would sell a shirt made of Poly... ...but than he is from America, it could well be :(

Sorry to bring this thread from the dead, but I would also recommend Lomax Militaria tropical shirts. The cut is excellent, fine quality cotton and it has shoulder board loops, rust brown dish buttons. They come in darker and lighter shade and are a bit expensive, but the quality is absolutely great!

I agree, I have several of those and they are fantastic. They fade nicely too.

David at Panther-Store has the absolute best WH, LW and DAK shirts, pretty amazing stuff - good fabric, good colors (DAK comes in two shades) and excellent manufacture. Highly recommended as anything else from Panther-Store. My personal opinion, of course.
