what type of rifle is that on the back of an Italian near the plane ? just not too sure its carcano m91 fucile (long)...

Almost looks to be a Gewehr 88 though the barrel, an only the muzzle area is visible doesn't appear thick enough.
Perhaps one of the Greek issues? I forget the designation off the top of my head I'm sorry.
