More likely to be Shultze as neither man is a Schutze (Obergefreiters it seems) and the central figure is an Offizier or possibly a senior NCO. His collar patches seem LARGE........ Nice touch is the camouflage cover on the truck behind. Looks at first glance like Splittermuster - but the enlarged version seems to be perhaps another pattern or even hand done....... What do others think?

asked micky, she concurs it definately says schulz because the first if it was schutz(e) it would have an "e" on the end.

the type of script is semi sutterlin(commonly used in handwriting common to have a mixture) the u and the n are the same but the u has a hyphen over the top do distinguish it, it isnt an official way of writing but more of adopted to avoid confusion
