I got this movie on DVD a few years ago and love it. It shows the Italian Army in a good light, and not as a bunch of slackers. The RE uniforms and eqipment is good and the trucks look right, but the allied armour is BAD, M113 and what look like M48 or M60 tanks, only shown at night and covered with nets, but you can tell what they are. Leaving that out, a really good movie.

I didn't know this movie was known abroad...I've watched a couple of others on africa battles, but I find only this one acceptable.

Curious thing: scene of the end battle (night battle) you can hear sounds taken from Saving Private Ryan...
