Hi all, I am wondering if the coastal artillery ever wore standard m43 tunics? would this be accurate.
Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan,
Did you manage to find any information with regards to m43 used by the Kunstenartillerie regiments, apart from the Heeres-kunsten artillerie.
I'm interested to know if Navy Coastal artillery teams retained their pattern throughout the war.

Here's some pics of Coastal Artillery uniforms taken from the "German Soldiers of WW2"
by Jean de LaGarde, they are showing the HBT and M40 tunics being worn, hope you find
them useful.

Re: Use of m43: coastal artillery
According to j angolia in uniforms and traditions vol 3. They used standard cuts normally m40 however the bottom pocket was inside rather than outside, what was issued and most pics back this up. Most originals I have seen are the same. Most pictures show this. Only really officers who tended to use the standard heer cuts. Spent ages looking into this for my KA impressions.
Hope this helps.
