They don't need to send each other the codes - they need to send you the account holders them to point the domain name to the server. Noticing that you already have the Wars Logo on the placeholder means someone from your firm has already accessed it and uploaded that - If they can use the same route they should be able to upload the pages for the site......

And remember - you're paying for that service - if you're not getting it you ought to be asking for 6 months free or some other such deal......

There are IT professionals out there in re-enactment land who I'm sure would help if you asked.

The U-Boat Society voted to become affiliated to WARS for 2009. However, there are a small number of individual members who also hold AFRA membership cards, as is their right to do so.

In my opinion, both organisations serve WW2 re-enactment and re-enactors very ably indeed.

looking at the T&C, it does seem that the £10 asked by WARS is actually a good deal. I think it would be difficult on a common-sense level to say that AFRA membership actually is worth the money.

Thanks for the heads up Alex.
IMHO i do think that all the societies/associations that offer a umbrella membership have something to offer groups or individuals that are looking for an umbrella group be it Axis or Allied. Each to their own personnal taste and what suits the best for them or their group i guess.

Yes horses for courses, what suits one may not suit another, just so happens that AFRA suits me but that doest mean to say i dont wish WARS all the best.

Given the probable financial situation over the next couple of years it may be that members fee,s will become an issue though £5 on its own should not make much difference. However when it is added in with costs of fuel, living, beer and food even a fiver may make a difference.
A lot of it in my view depends on the comparison of what you get in insurance for your money.
Whatever anyones opinion the two Associations both have there details posted on here so it is down to the individual to read that info and make up there own minds which is best for them.
