I also agree. Whatever Luftwaffe uniforms, webbing or camo was on hand was issued out and depleted Luftwaffe stock was replaced with Heer items after turning over control to the Army. Depending on the location of the Division, some units maintained a more Luftwaffe look. Even in Normandy, with the 16th, 17th & 18th FD(L) catagorized as Static Divisions, you can see photos of prisoners wearing Heer M40 & M43 tunics, Army marked helmets etc. A mixture of both Luft & Heer seems common as well with Heer tunics, Luft belt buckels and M43 caps. So as time and combat took it's toll, the look became decidely Heer for the most part. The book Ruckmarsch gives some nice examples of this.
