Hi,
which LW blue shirts could you recommend? Which are the best? Is there anyone who produces ,,blaumeliertes Hemd"?
Thanks for help.

Spearhead (Barry Lyndon) shirts are quite good, i recommend them, probably the only decent bit of kit
they do sell as the rest of his gear isn't up to standard imho but the shirts are quite good, although the
postage is high so when i bought some (WH/SS type) i bought a few so i hadn't got to keep paying the
high postage (pics below)

I disagree with you there Pieper

Spearhead does a good tropical range as well and I know he is also popular with Fallschirmjäger Reenactors as well as myself

His postage is the same as the rest though his cheaper than At the Front and Hessen Antique who over charge on their postage

Fair comment his new Falshy smocks are ok, I have one
myself but I was referring to his wool tunics and peaked
caps (see other topics they have been mentioned before),
these leave a lot to be desired tbh

I agree with you regarding caps and wool tunics
but like all Vendors you have to be selective and sort through the crap

Joonas being a under garment I would go with Spearhead. The shirt wont be seen much so not much point paying top $$$ on something that is covered up most of the time
I will be buying Spearheads Blue Luftwaffe shirt in 3-4 months for my FD impression.

Good choice Von Schnitzel ;-)
Just a little tip always hand wash the shirts separately as
they are very susceptible to picking up other colours, one
of my grey ones was in the wash with the denim jeans
and it went blue so all I can do now is wear it when iam
portraying the Fallschirmjager

Unfortunatly the best dress shirt was made by lost battallions, you might pick one up second hand. If its a late war thang, a generic service shirt or period civilian shirt would cover it. If I was buying one id go panther store, spearhead stuff is shite.

Each to their own, personally the Panther store shirts look the same quality to me although
going from the pics of Panther store version it looks the wrong colour imho, ive seen an
original Lufty shirt and they are a paler blue similar to the Spearhead ones, this looks like
a generic type tbh?

Also it apears to button all the way to the bottom or at least far too many buttons, which compared
to original shirts whether they be generic, WH or LW only buttoned halfway, also they are 41 Euro
which seems a lot to pay for a shirt which is the wrong colour and far too many buttons and the
wrong type of buttons which should be the "Urea" type :? (see pic)

It's not the option to search for Lost Battallions production, because I need shirts also for other members of my group. At least 5-6 pieces.

Well my good man you have a problem sadly! The old LB ones were the correct blue fleck, none of the others have this detail. I presume you want to do a walking out type thing? Also the collars were pointed! My advice would be, and we sort of have the same problem, is try and find the correct material and get them made. I wish I could help you more, but that is the best answer I can give.
