An SS photo with a real story!

Post by Jonny »

I was at Ulrichsberg and among the many Vets I met one gave me and original Photo of his younger brother...

He had four brothers in the SS and only he came back with one Russian bullet in his left arm rendering him unable to fight...

He served in the Langemarck Division ( Alongside many spanish as he pointed out many of them in other photos)

This he called was his unlucky younger brother,he nearly drowned when he was 12, he lost his finger at his first day at work, he got hit the first day in battle and on his way back to the front his train was blown of the rails killing him....

Willhem went to see him and wrapped him up in a Zeltban and put him to rest...

His name was Jan Cruysberghs killed on 22nd Mai 1942 by Partisans

Here are some Photos starting with the one he gave me...
