Gj Kp. Pennant
Does anyone know if there was a Kompanie "Wimpel" or pennant and how did it look? I've seen the divisional square one (I think it was black-green-black) and the ¿regimental? triangular one (in the same colors, but I don't know about tha Kp. one.

Best person to ask would be FeldjagerI've seen in the photos it was of a hard material. Wood or metal? Probably metal. Dimensions: 50 x 60 cm?

We've designed a new "Wimpel" for the 3.Kp. What do you think? Things to change?

Grüß Di' Gamsjägers,
Nice design, but I think you need to simplify your Gams. Here's a regimental flag for the 5. GJD:
You can see that the Gams is very simple. The material used for these type flags were either metal or wood mounted on a lance.
1. Divisional Triangular flags would be 60cm Wide and 80cm Long
2. Regimental Rectangular flags would measure 30cm x 40cm
3. Brigades, Battalions, and Company Triangular flags are 30cm x 40cm
Here's a 1. Gebirgsdivision flag that I've painted on pressed wood board:
And a Gebirgsjäger Regiment 100 flag from my Bergkameraden in Ohio:
Hurra die Gams und Horrido!
Patrick

Re: Gj Kp. Pennant
I've looked in a web that Franz past me ( in the second reply to that post) and the vertical design as well as the colour distribution is the right one for a Kompanie, but I havn't found any sample.
I`ll use the Gams that you have send me, Patrick. Thanks
