I have been lucky enough to get one of these and would be grateful for any heads up on any manuals or any optics or boxes/accessories that you may know of/see on your travels also any good books or sites on the interweb?

Meine liebe Katschen,so you have joined the 'big gun' club.As for general books there is Deutsche Panzerabwehr 1916-1918&1930-1945 published by cannon publications ISBN 1 899 695 01X (I have a copy and I think Glen has one too),German artillery of WW2 by Ian Hogg,used to be printed by the arms & armour press published in 1975.It might also be worth inquiring on WAF,Im sure our colonial cousins must have one or two,duck hunting ect;ask in the paperwork section,must be a few manual collectors.

I also did a search for sights,a ZF3x8 pak/flak scope still in its box was sold on ebay on Jan 12th for $150 dollars + $50 pp from the UK which I think is bloody cheap!

I found this on the optics forum of WAF,a ARM38 Aushilfsrichtsmittel 38,auxillery aiming device for pak and artillery guns when ZF not available or damaged,issued practically with every 5,0cm pak gun and above.

One of my friends makes reproductions of german manuals and such, He owns the manuals to the Famo/Kubel/BMW/Zundapp/DKW and a LOT of other vehicles/guns. I Think there is a possibility he has the PAK38 manual, I will ask him today!
