Post by VonSchnitzel »

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone can tell me where to get the Scorpion Patch for the Ramcke Brigade which is on the arm as seen in this pic

I have notice the Ramcke Brigade isn't a impression many do so if you can post some leads on the impression as well that would be great

The Scorpio patch was the tactical sign of the 1st Kompanie of I/.FJR3, not of the whole Ramke brigade, not even the whole 1st Battalion.
The 2nd Kompanie had a 4 leaf clover with 2 on the top right leaf and the 3rd had a sun device stitched on the upper right arm.

It was Lehr battalions that wore the patches. As far as I know, these were field made, and these were done once they were in Africa. It would be interesting to list all the patches of the Ramcke brigade. I know that the Pioneer company wore a cross with a sort of arrow pointing upwards
