Hey-ya, from Canada.

Post by Jon Hansen »

Welp, not really good with these things so... here we go!

Gotten into Re-enacting around 2009/2010.
Past year or so my one group (airsoft) has really improved. I personally wanted to further improve leaps and bounds, so I linked up with a local 'blank fire' group (KG Haase), loving it all and want so much more! Phenomenal group.

Blown away at the standards my airsoft group are trying to get to slowly... compared to level of 'blank fire' I love it, want it all.

Done 1 event with KG Haase, best fun I've ever had. Done a few staged battles for the public using blanks, great fun. It's what lead me to get in touch with Haase.

Anyhow, joined up here to further gain knowledge and ideas. Always looking to improve. Learked this forum for awhile, thought it was finally time to pop my head in.

Here's a picture of me from a public event back in August, don't mind the background bits!

Only recent good one of me hah. Still more to improve on that's for sure. Apologize for the Photoshop, was sent to me like that.

Cheers!

people crossing over from airsoft to re-enactment, personally i was a "tin and
throatache" collector first before i took the plunge lol

Actually I'm half and half, half Canadian, half Swiss. Mother's from Woodstock Ontario. Spent most of my childhood in Mission close to Vancouver (we moved out there because of my father's job, he's Swiss though...long and complicated story...)...and about 5 years ago moved here to finish my education as to get a degree I'd fork out 30 grand a year where here I finish with no dept and somewhat in the plus.

Anyway, where abouts in Ontario? I usually go back for a month each year. Might crash an event of yours :p

Hah! I'm in London, if you are ever in the area, would be great to stop by and have a drink. Share some stories, y'know.. the little things away from the front
