I've had a couple - I liked the cut and quality of the wool. Is this a 2nd hand one you're looking at?

Re: Antz Tunic quality
Excellent stuff. Too bad he stopped making them years ago....
Re: Antz Tunic quality
ANTZ uniforms are great - good quality wool, good cut, nice details (correct buttonholes) - I have several jackets and trousers, wool and Drillich.
ZIB in Hamburg still has lots of this stuff - also B-grade / second quality goods (with missing buttons, manufacturing errors etc.)
Most of the goods are not listed in the shop - best way is to visit Heiko and look what is available.

For a long time his trousers were cut too low in the waist.
Some tunics, M36 style but not all his M36, were produced in a very odd shade of green, almost Police green.
He never got his pea dot close to originals.
His late war 'brown' wool that was made into M44 tunics gave one of the best looking late war tunics I have seen in reproduction.

I've seen pictures of the later war tunics and it looks like they have that chinese cheap silk linning in the them, is this true? Talking about the M43 tunic.

I have one of the late war tunics. The lining is artificial silk which is standard for original wartime M43 tunics. I don't really like the lining color, it is a pinkish red and not like the various gray/green/gold rayon I know from original garments.

And do you have any idea where they got this idea from??? It kinda ruins an otherwise nice tunic.Chris Pittman wrote:I have one of the late war tunics. Agreed on both those points. I've got a DAK uniform from him that is great. I also got an HBT set - the tunic is good, but the trousers were too low. In the end, I outgrew them so I got some replacement trousers from Panther - they match pretty well.SplinterA wrote:For a long time his trousers were cut too low in the waist.
