I'm coming to the dance, and will be wearing my dirndl, along with Lou and Dink! Looking forward to it, and to share the Schnaps with my comrades!

I wonder what the wedding party in our hotel will think of a group of German's and American's in WWII uniforms and Dirndls sharing their venue?!!

The dance will probably kick off at 7pm but people have been known to turn up earlier. Residents of the Hotel are allowed to get pie-eyed all night in the main bar and I'll bring my laptop for some sounds. We went on till 5:30am the last time!

I spoke to the Film-maker last night and he's got a storyboard that he'd like us to work to.

It would be useful if you could give us a heads up on this, so we can tailor ourselves to suit.
We dont want to flood it or leave you short handed.

Dink, us women don't need an excuse to go and buy clothes and shoes-especiallly when it comes down to the Dirndls!! Now my only problem is to decide, stockings, knee socks or ankle socks!!!!

Right quick update!

Hopefully the Pyro's will be in place for the photo-shoot thanks to PD, we're planning on supplying chip butties for all those taking part and also tea and coffee on tap ( Free of charge). All the costs for the photo-shoot will be met by N44 so just turn up and have a good time and hopefully I'll see most of you later that night during the dance. You can pay on the door for admission to the dance so don't worry about booking tickets!


I'll make sure the DJ will play Tiger-feet at some stage during the night!

Can't wait for this tomorrow. Just looking forward to airing all my kit. Nice to see the weather up here has changed for the better From pleasant sunshine to gale force winds and lashing rain. Who said re-enacting was a fair weather game
