Well done lads,
did a course from the anti a number of years ago, loved the experience but not the ground rush and fast landings!at the time Peter Gross in Texel was chief round chute packmaster, arrived in Holland uninvited in 1940 i believe but ended up living there..told us some great stories. how the fk anyone managed to fly an RZ..now thats something, no steering,no control!was watching footage of FJ into holland, JUs flying so low they had to dodge the chimney stacks..
Keep the faith!

Re: Fallschirmjager over Holland 2013
I was shocked (and had forgot) how light these landings were compared to PX1MK4 or the LLP parachutes i used in the regt, i had jumped with MC1-C parachutes when i got my US wings with the 10th special forces group (Rangers) in about 1994 but that was a long time ago and these were clean fatigue and from a low speed aircraft!!!!!
To jump from something that is as slow as a JU52 in fallschirmjaeger gear with a stick of blokes i wanted to jump with in the same gear AND do the correct exit is something i will never forget
Rot sheint die sonne!

Any chance on others getting in on this for another event? I have the stuff except a parachute...could one rent one?

The next courses are in May, July & September.
Chutes provided - just need combat gear and an iron will.
