Not forgetting that mid to late war the helmet would have been camo painted, a cover or camoflage net, maybe some wire over it. or a mixture of all! And some mud thrown in for good measure!

i did my first event with fjr3 this dec. and jager roll let me use one of his m38's it fit perfect but i could never pay that much for a helmet his are top end repro's and they look great,but i would still like to find a copy that doesnt set me back a car payment and if i have to cover with a good repro helmet cover?? any ideas??

Well, I ordered a liner, chinstrap and bolts for my current shell, and am having a 71 shell put aside for me when they appear. Mike has been an absolute pleasure to deal with so far.
