meindl cap badge insigne

I came across a seller on Ebay some time ago selling the Meindl cap bade, but now I need one I can not find it anymore... Does anyone know who is selling these cap-badges'???

these badges were silver not bronze!

i would spray paint it chrome to be more accurate!

Also this one is larger than the originals!

Just a bit of (maybe) interesting trivia.

The Meindl badge was made from the melted silverware of the family.

see Kurtz German Paratroops, Uniforms, insignia... Page 134..... doesn't look silver to me !

It's just the lighting on the picture. Or it might be tarnished. Or it might be a reflection of something outside the picture frame.
The Meindl badge is silver, only.

I am not an expert but on the photo it does not look like silver and if it was silver then I still think the repro's now available are great (as they also look not silver).

Please post a picture and question on the http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/ in the Fallschirmjager section and have a look what they will say... Ask them also if they made them only on silver...
