I am currently working on a book about Luftwaffe plane crashes in Ireland from Sept. 1940 to May 1945 when the last plane landed over here . I am looking for any web sites that may have material that may be of use to me in my research .I am especially looking for info on KG27 , KG40 , KG55 , Wekusta 51 , 1(F)./123 , KuFlGr 406 & 906 and 1./NJG3.
I would be very grateful for any help , thank you.

Justin , you may well have been here already , Military Archives in Dublin will surrender a huge amount of information.

War planes Research Group of Ireland is another Southern based organisation which may be able to assist you - they have been active for 20 plus years and have worked on all aircraft which came down in the South.
