Re: Russian F1 Grenades
I've got a friend who goes to Russia from time to time and gets F1 grenades. I could ask him if he could get any.

Hi Siggi
I had seen those, unfortunately I am after either metal replicas or deacts....and ZIB only does them in wood.
Bauer - that would be great mate - but would they comply with UK deactivation/inert ordinance laws?

Tom.

what about rusmil.com they usually have them for sale.
Re: Russian F1 Grenades
One of the problems for UK buyers wanting to use Zib is the cost of getting the money to them. iban costs are silly for UK users and who trusts sending cash through the post these days?S.Wilhelm wrote:Look at Zib-militaria.

Well he did bring back 2 live grenades once, he did deactivate them though (well, got rid of the igniters).Hans Gowert wrote:a finnish guy going to russia to get grenades ? i know what your lot are like, they will be LIVE !!

Re: Russian F1 Grenades
Well, is there some special rules in UK that I should be aware of? My mates grenades have their explosives taken out from the inside and they don't have the igniter in them, so they can't explode. Just the hollow metal shell, with the handle and pin in working condition.Gott Mit Uns wrote:Bauer - that would be great mate - but would they comply with UK deactivation/inert ordinance laws?

I think part of the ignition chamber needs to be filled/semi-filled with a weld or resin. I shalt consult with Feldjaeger....

Alright, let me know and I'll see if we can do something to help you.
But I can't promise, my friend is currently enjoying his holidays somewhere and I don't know if he can get hold of any, or if he will sell any of his current ones. But I'll see what we can do.
