When wool is too hot

What can you wear when the wool fj trousers is too hot, I ve seen a tan colour trousers, are they just tropical Luftwaffe trousers.
Any help would be great, been at 2 shows lately and have lost pounds. Lol

NW Europe, wool Im afraid! Wear them enough and they are fine! Tropical trousers were Italy et al!

So tropical trousers where never used above italy regarding how hot it was ?
sounds stupid to me :) to wear wool trousers, when even regular army had nice HBT.

Take your tunic off and just wear shirt sleeves and tough it out with the trou.

Although it might have been hot in the day it would obviously get cold at night and if you were sleeping outdoors you'd be glad of a nice warm wool set.

Stepping into a tent and changing for the occasion is a luxury those boys didn't have.

Maybe they had arctic June, July, August & September in Europe during the mid 40´s ?
Poor well trained legs could freeze :(
Couldnt be good .. during combat intense.. body loose much more water.. thanks to hot wools..

Im sure it wasnt desert nights temps :)

Look at the pics in Normandy, Summer '44, no tropical and no HBT!! Wool,wool,wool! jump tousers, vest and knocensack thats about as summery as it gets!!

yeah i know, your both right.. its just that i feel sorry for them..

Springerhosen are not too bad to wear in hot weather, firstly its a natural fabric, so it breathes, they are baggy and you can open the openings at the side of the knee for circulation!
