I was sorting gear yesterday.
I keep my Medic stuff for all nations in one big box, a red cross flag is a red cross flag?
Whilst rummaging in the box I managed to puncture the end of my left index finger on something sharp.
I got blood on my red cross vest.
Wicked.

don't forget to get a tetanos shot, since old medical gear isn't steril anymore...

now stig , i am most dissapointed, you were at our house all last night and not once did you call "sani".. medical aid could have been administered for said puncture wound to finger...plaster applied and appropriate paperwork by micky could have been filled out to send to hq for instruction for wound badge.

in answer ..yes a bit of the red stuff allways makes a further impression authentic...
