Changing my impression

Post by sapper44 »

Guys;
I have been reenacting for 21yrs now and just don't seem to be enjoying the running through the woods burning blanks anymore, but I really love hanging out and helping out at events when I get to go. I have been thinking about hanging up the Mauser and trying something different. When I was in the military I was a 92Y and have been thinking of putting together a supply officer or NCO impression, or an armorer or maybe a FG impression. What do you guys think. Mostly at events I help with registration and safety inspections, but in real life I am a gunsmith and work in a gun store.

I think you need to talk with the other guys in your outfit and tell them what's on your mind. Togetter you will find out what's possible. but I would go for Waffenmeister as they had NCO rank and you are in the arms business

Waffenmeister - you can fit into a lot of scenarios as that.

And - as it's your trade - you know what you're doing with it and have all the background etc to substantiate your portrayal!

My thoughts anyway.
