The material is pretty thin. The patterns are typical of Chinese dealers. The only close to correct SS pattern he carries is plane tree 3/4. All his others are pretty off. You get what you pay for, as they say.

They look dire to me! However, I've not knowingly seen them in person. Some of his kit is 'ok' - most of it I'd give a wide berth however. But thats just me. I've got a pile of utility straps from him, and some gamaschen. The leatherwork is poop(again, in my opinion - other folk say the straps are fine, and for field work and getting manky/potentially lost/broken I guess they are), especially on his gamaschen. I replaced the leatherwork entirely on the gamaschen and they arent bad to be honest.

Bottom line - its cheap!

Guys that know better... send him patterns or good example pictures, he'll improve the stuff if he knows whattodo
