Kameraden,
Does any one know where I could buy the reenactor translated copy of Der Recruit? I know there is someone that sells copies but at present I can't find it the link.
Danke...
Also, the other day I saw the book FUBAR, Soldier speak. It has an American, Commonwealth and German sections. Any reviews on this book??
cheers
Möller

Re: Der Recruit
Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Der-Rekrut-The-Re ... 1930571488
A better book is the translated 1943 Reibert:
http://www.germanmanuals.com/REmanuals.html
The 1943 Reibert is more expensive, but the extra cost is well worth it. The information in "Der Rekrut" is almost entirely available in the Reibert, but the Reibert goes well beyond. The Reibert contains twice as many pages. I have both on my shelf, and so my opinion stems from a hands on comparrison.
Haven't read FUBAR, so I cannot comment on that one.
