I'm trying to put together a Küstenartillerie Uniform, however I see 2 versions of Kragenspiegels,Collar tabs.
One with a piece of green cloth behind it, and one without.
Is this just the early war/ late war difference?
And does anyone happen to know original Küstenartillerie Shoulderboards or collar tabs for sale?
Kind regards, Sjoerd

Re: Kriegsmarince Küstenartillerie
Hi Sjoerd,
I've been eyeing some KA pieces recently and I have seen both examples. I come to understand that this is similar to the army. The backed ones are pre-early war, where as litzen sewn to the collar itself, are mid-late war.
I haven't seen any original litzen alone. If I come across something, I will let you know.
