What a great picture, I'm always interested to see that most Helferins wore their hair loose at the back and it isn't necessary to put it up in a roll or bun to be authentic. Great reference!

That's what we thought - I know it seems expensive, but there are 194 photos plus the album, so that works out at around £1 per photo. The few Nachtrichten Helferin pictures I have seen on Ebay tend to go for a lot more than that. Also looking at the pictures they appear to all be there or there may only be a few that have been removed. Someone else was selling a mixed lot of around 100 I think for about 99 euros starting price but this was a loose lot not in an album.

Lovely collection there. My other half is slowly getting into this and she likes looking at the period pics. You see some great collections on flea bay, but they usually go over my budget

When I get some time I will get round to scanning the photos in (not this week as I am off to the Fatherland in around a couple of hours!!) so I will let you all know. If I can get the hang of coppermine I will post them on here if not then PM and I'll sort something out.
