Just like reenacting, why not show the usual panzer uniform, instead of something doctored up in the field?

The "experts" out there will forever remember it as being some farby hollywood uniform

Re: Tunic question

We'll the only reason I said it was not the right size was because of the sleeves. I thought it was too tight across my back. Then I realized that it's kinda like a suit and suppose to come up. Excuse me for not researching it further before posting. Thats OK your excused. Now have you researched w...

Re: Tunic question

Does the wearing of the tunic stretch out any? It's a tad too tight and stiff. first off you say its to tight [quoteI]t's the correct size. I was just curious as to if it would stretch at all. What about something to make the wool less abrasive?[/quote] Then you say its the correct size. So what is...

Re: Who would use the StG-44?

The Heer was very much involved with partisan actions and the "clean-up" of territories conquered by the Wehrmacht, so their record isn't as spotless as you'd think. and also the Luftwaffe as well, this can be seen on the documentaries when Poland was invaded. graham There is an online co...

but... I don't feel like being SS due to the fact that the officers were some of the few (in comparison to the rest of the military, and how few of the Heer, Luftwaffe, and KriegsMarines knew about the holocaust) that actually knew and helped the jewish people be massacred. What a stupid comment. Y...

Re: Pebbled P38 holster

Looking at getting a softshell P38 holster Are pebbled ones correct? Any pics of usage? Cheers Ian I have never seen a pebbled one, and i have seen a lot of them. Not saying that its wrong, but maybe only say 25% were made pebbled when times had gotten really tough. Given the widespread usage of sm...

As an SBG member, all my bling has been earned, with some bling awarded to me by an SS Vet. Got my wound badge for getting hurt at Beltring many years ago. The scar has nearly faded now.

Re: Mortar Granatwerfer 36

You can make a new tube and swap them over. Make the new tube with a door on it that you open to remove the fired round. Firing pin is spring loaded on one of these. Use a 2 inch parachute illumination round as the charge holder and a 38special blank as the bang. My BF one of these is somewhere in t...

Indeed and in his final statement he makes the point it's fine to re-enact German units, as long as it's done well and without the political element. any idea of what the political element might be? I have seen all types of German reenactors doing salutes. I dont see reenactors wearing swazi armban...

Re: Another wanker having his say

cant see the problem with the article, maybe you should have read it first? hes just asking a question, and not saying anything derogotive about WW2 German re-enactors I think perhaps you should reread it. As glider inf says, its someone having yet another pop at WSS reenactors, and the reason I po...
