The bag was listed as a german demo bag, and as you say was useful. I know the MG belt is wrong as I said it was to represent a bandolier, the SMG pouches are correct as this was just a shot with th Mg as I was using an MP40 for the period. The boot are the Brit Pro boot which are Goretex lined and ...

Yes I know the Bandolier is wrong but it was a representation, the boots are Brit etc etc.
And the MG34 was made from an M249, with drum mag that hides the feed.
It was posted up for comments yes, but I am not a re-enactor, i enjoy wearing the kit and would like constructive help pse.

No I am afraid we do not do any climbing.
The last time I did any serious climbing was in 1989, when I was trying to do as many of the extreme climbs in Wales.

Thanks for the information Patrick, so I can now carry on and sew my badge onto my left pocket, as also I have found out that awards go onto the left pocket and the Mountain Leader badge was an award as such.

So would I be wrong in sewing this badge on my left pocket, I have the correct sleeve one on, but was told this signified a Mountain Leader and as quoted " BERGFÜHRER Mountain leader This was worn on the left breast pocket" from previous post at the begining.

Did all my ML training at Towyn, then returned to do Top Rope and Abseiling training then Rock Climbing.
Was based with the outward bound unit in HMS Sultan, but did spend time at Capel Curig.
Thought it was ok to wear one.

So correct me if I`m wrong the BERGFÜHRER badge is sewn onto the left pocket.
Was a mountain leader in the forces so thought it was correct to wear one.

Thanks again Peiper, and yes I am trying to perfect the look, and will include the ice axe,goggles etc in time.
