wwii axis reenactment forum

Well I know that it's synthetic paint system,but my old contact for buying from as retired. Any ideas where one could get it from now a days ?

I've paint stripped the wings, and the original colour of them is a Dark Blue. I've a sense that this was a high ranking officers vehicle of the Kreigs Marine ? However I'd like to paint it either back to that or pre/early war Grey. What's the RAL code to use for either, if anyone knows ? Regards, K...

What a waste of a good restored vehicle to ruin it with a naff paint job.

You may say dream of dreams but heaven help anyone who knackers the front drive shaft etc up, you'd have to be very wealthy or lucky and wealthy to afford those kind of bits for it.

I'm impressed by you all doing the whole thing.The photographs show what a stunning event, and the level of detail you set for yourselves and exceeded.

I did wonder

Seems to me to be over charged entry price, and not much known about it. For me I'd much rather save the money and go to a known decent show at the end of the month.

If it's the first one run how can you have a comparison ? I've not been to peak rail for years, and while I'm sure it's an okay event it's not changed it's format for years. ( although that is not always a bad thing ), while it seems no-one knows exactly which groups are attending "Derbyshire's...

And with Peak rail on the same weekend, and £10 for MOP to get in I doubt it's going to be that good. However it's worth seeing what happens.....?

Completely edited to say....I agree with the Black uniformed SS and political uniforms being banned at W&P and any other UK events before we find ourselves as a hobby having bans put on us by public or govt led lobbies.

And yes I waffle , alot.
