They'd need to be pressed 'flat' rather than 'sideways' like normal trousers,( if you see what I mean )... you'd want to avoid going over the edge with the iron though as you won't want a crease at the edge of your breeches.
I've done 'old fashioned' riding breeches like this many times

Those are not 'panzer wraps' , just assorted leather jackets as far as I can see, fairly generic types of the period ( I've owned a few old German leathers myself in the past )

Btw here's an Austrian civilian ski jacket from 1935ish catalogue, essentially a 'Panzer Wrap' so clearly this design was kicking around as a sports kit item
