Re: Making Sniper veils ?
Hi guys, attached you will see an example of what I am reproducing. These are copied exactly to an original that a collector was kind enough to loan me. I plan to be reproducing both type one and type two camouflage face fails. The main difference between the two models is the elastic camouflage ban...

Re: Interesting question - kneeling while captured
Out of the countless period photographs, I cannot recall aby of prisoners kneeling, even in an execution setting. Gj DAK questions.
Berg Heil my friends! So I was curious if anybody could give me a solid answer if Gj were issued Y-straps in Afrika or if they went strapless, so to speak, as their continental counterparts. I'm familiar with most of the typical appearance of both the 288 and 756 who served in Afrika, but the y-stra...

Re: Berg Heil aus San Francisco!
Greetings, Halle! Thanks for the welcome, and its good to see another 100th! Newbie Gebirgs question.
Hi all! I was wondering if anybody could help me on the proper method of carrying the ice axe. I have seen paintings of it being carried horizontally underneath the flap of the rucksack but I have attempted this and it doesn't seem to work in practice. Can anybody help me out on how to properly secu...
