cheap was probably the wrong word to use, affordable is probably a much better word. And I understand to coasts associated with reenactment as I do 14th century reenactment all ready :lol: , I was just wondering what the better of the cheaper options are to start out. I was only looking there as they seemed a little more affordable then some of the stores, that being said I would prefer to get exactly what I ordered. Any suggestions for an alternative that is on the cheaper side?

I was not aware he had attended an officers school in the us, but then again I do not know much about him other then his rank and that he died in 1951. but it could very much be him :), I also know he wrote some books on warfare, one I believe on fighting insurance or something like that.

my paternal grandfather was an infantry general in the wehrmacht, and my maternal grandfather was a fallschrimjager but spent most of the war as a pow in Canada. I quess it depends a lot on documentation as well. I was offered a considerable amount for my grandfathers, but considering its the only thing i have left from him there is no amount that would convince me to part with it

lol, why sould you leave the beautiful alps? I for one miss germany alot and Bavaria even more, 13 years is a long vacation to be in Canada. but hopefuly i cna find some people interested 8)

I am really interested in getting into ww2 Re-enactment, the issue being there does not seem to be anything in my area. I would be willing to travel into Washington state.
