Re: Hello everyone!
Welcome friend.
Forgive my lack of terminology but what exactly is a "KSK impression" just curious. Best of luck to you and all fellow re-enactors across the pond.

Japanese Infantry weapons
Hi does anyone know a good supplier for Japanese world war two infantry weapons, either Deactivated or even airsoft/airgun type weapons in the UK. So far I and some of my fellow enthusiasts have had to adapt and convert weapons from other nations to fit the Japanese troop kits. Simply because I cann...

Re: The Arisaka Rifle
My grandfather in his diary from the time actually praised the Arisaka type 38. He loved the extra length of the rifle. He died in 1997 but a while before he passed away I recall asking him was the rifle he used ever very awkward. My Grandfather was 5.7 which was fairly tall for a Japanese soldier a...

Re: Foreigners in Japanese forces?
Sorry for late reply digging up old thread. I know the Japanese did not favour many European's especially the British, and obviously they would have been deep mistrust of "White" men who might try to betray or ruin the Japanese cause from within. However there were many non-Japanese units ...

Apologies that this is a rather late turn-up I would have loved to take part in that event. If there are any similar events for this year please keep us posted. Thank you.

Re: why do Japanese?
Ah excellent Mr Tanaka thank you very much for the original post. I loved learning about the History of Japanese re-enactment in the UK. I was quite surprised to learn it was such a relatively new wave or as we say back in Hokkaido Hokusai! :D . I hope to hear more for future. Best of luck to you an...

Gomen Nasai, Sumimasen
Greetings friends thank you for allowing me among you. For those of you familiar to Japanese the thread title here is obvious, but just in case your wondering it says "Sorry, excuse me" :) I am a completely newbie to UK re-enactment scene. I am somewhat of an anomaly since I am part Japane...
